FernFH WissBlog - Academic staff give insights into online teaching, their work and the future of education

On 5th of March the "FernFH WissBlog" goes online. The academic staff of the FernFH - Distance-Learing University of Applied Sciences - want to show their readers the world of distance learning programmes - from professional as well as from personal view.

Christa Walenta is convinced that "studying from a distance means overcoming distance". The programme director at the Ferdinand Porsche FernFH belongs to the circle of academic staff who create the "FernFH WissBlog". In her article about online teaching, she describes, among other things, how personal and full of interactions distance learning can be.

The "FernFH WissBlog" has been online since 5th of March. The academic staff cordially invite you to learn more about Austria's first Distance-Learning University of Applied Sciences, its unique study concept and the work there: What are the advantages of online teaching? How does blended learning work? What does flexible learning mean? What does everyday life look like on the Online Campus? What current research is the FernFH team currently working on? And much more. Sometimes the bloggers become very personal: Anahid Aghamanoukjan, for example, shares her experience of "My first time - online" with the readers: "I literally fell into the new world of online teaching.

The "FernFH WissBlog" team shares its knowledge and experience of teaching and learning at the FernFH as well as the latest research findings in new articles every week.

Why not take a few minutes of your time and get some (also personal) insights into the FernFH... We look forward to seeing you!  Here you can find the FernFH WissBlog - the blog is currently only available in German.
