Birgit Teufer,MA
Birgit Teufer works as a research assistant at the Institute of Business and Psychology at the Ferdinand Porsche FERNFH since September 2023. Her research interests lie in the areas of (sustainable) consumer behavior, consumer perception and sustainable development, as well as "green" marketing.
In her doctoral studies at the University of Klagenfurt, she is working on collaborative consumption in consumer networks and similar social innovations, using a variety of different research methods.
Birgit Teufer has previously worked as research associate at the University of Continuing Education Krems and IMC Krems for several years, contributing to both national and international research projects with content in the areas of health promotion, collaboration and cooperation (e.g. open innovation, community-based initiatives), and sustainable marketing. Since 2016, she regularly teaches at several Austrian universities in the areas of research methods, business psychology as well as marketing.
