Two years ago we were happy enough to come ninth, last year we made it to third place, this year we are delighted to receive gold. According to Industriemagazin, this is a sign of the times: “Traditional auditoriums are moving aside to make way for the digital online campus.” Today, distance-learning universities of applied sciences would form the next “wave of the 4.0. revolution”, states “Industriemagazin” in it’s analysis of the result on its website. Ferdinand Porsche FernFH’s achievement of first place in this year's ranking of Universities of Applied Sciences clearly shows that technological change does not stop at the tertiary education sector either, it goes further. “This result confirms to us that we are working well and shows that we are absolutely on the right track”, says Axel Jungwirth, CEO of Ferdinand Porsche FernFH. “We’re leading the way with our study programmes and state-of-the-art e-learning methods.”
