FernFH is now flying the rainbow flag

The Ferdinand Porsche Ring 3 now has a little bit more colour: Today the rainbow flag was hoisted at FernFH as a visible sign of diversity and acceptance.

“Diversity is important to FernFH and including everyone is our mission”, says Ingrid Wahl. This also includes support for the LGBTIQ* movement (lesbian, gay, bi, trans*, inter*, queer), stresses the Gender & Diversity Representative at FernFH. CEO Axel Jungwirth and Head of Academic Board Martin Staudinger recently hoisted the rainbow flag at Ferdinand Porsche Ring 3 to show off our acceptance and tolerance to the world.

Our commitment to diversity is firmly anchored in the statutes and values of Ferdinand Porsche FernFH. FernFH is also a member of the independent network queer@hochschulen, that will be taking part in “EuroPride” in Vienna in June. Exciting events will be taking place in the next few weeks and anyone who is interested is invited to come along, including those who do not belong to the LGBTIQ* community.
