Skill modules instead of a full degree program.
Flexible. Focused. For you.
Day in and day out,you shoulder responsibilities— at work and at home. You juggle daily life, appointments, and emails, but you also have this inner feeling: “I want more. And I can do more. I want to keep growing.” But a degree program doesn’t fit into your daily routine?
You just want to learn exactly what you need to take the next step in your career. Then it’s time for a new educational path—one that’s skills-focused and flexible enough to fit into your life. That’s exactly what micro-credentials are for.
What are micro-credentials, and how can you benefit from them?
Micro-Credentials (MCs) are academically grounded, compact continuing education modules (5–15 ECTS) that provide you with exactly the knowledge you need to take your next career step. You’ll learn through a flexible combination of self-paced study on the online campus—which you can do anytime, anywhere—and selected, scheduled in-person sessions. And all at the level of a bachelor’s or master’s program.
Practical. Modular. Immediately applicable. With our micro-credentials, you’ll not only gain specific skills for your profession but also earn recognized qualifications that can be applied toward future studies at FERNFH. Our micro-credentials are integrated into the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)—a system used by virtually all European universities and many educational institutions worldwide to determine credit recognition.
Your goal: a new job, more responsibility, or targeted skill development. Your path: skill-focused. Job-oriented. Flexible. Micro-credentials are the building blocks of your skills. This way, you can work toward your next career step in a targeted manner.
