
Master's in Digital Health Management Accredited – Starts Winter Semester 24/25
FERNFH will launch its new master’s program—Digital Health Management—in October 2024. The program was successfully accredited by AQ Austria on September 18, 2024, and offers 20 students the opportunity to help shape the healthcare system of the future.
The healthcare sector is undergoing a transformation. Digital technologies are revolutionizing prevention, care, and health management. With the new Master’s program in “Digital Health Management” (or “DIGMA” for short), FERNFH offers a part-time, distance-learning program that trains the urgently needed specialists for this transformation.
DIGMA – A Degree Program for the Future
Prof. (FH) Mag.aDr.inKarin Waldherr, Director of the Institute for Health Sciences at FERNFH, emphasizes: “With this accreditation, we have reached a significant milestone. Flexible Degree Program for Future Digital Health Managers
The new master’s program is offered in a proven format—combining online study with compact, in-person sessions—as a hybrid distance learning program, which allows working professionals to learn flexibly and from anywhere. Thanks to a comprehensive online learning platform, individualized support, and practice-oriented modules, students can apply their theoretical knowledge directly to real-world situations.
DIGMA Applications Open for 2025/26
The program officially begins in October 2024, and all spots have already been filled. Interested applicants can apply for the2025/26academic year starting October 1, 2024.
