Through a formative process evaluation, FERNFH is supporting WiG in the implementation and management of Phase II of the “Be Smart – Eat Healthy” project. Furthermore, as part of an outcome evaluation, a summary assessment will be conducted to determine the extent to which the project’s objectives have been achieved. The effectiveness of the project will be thoroughly analyzed using an impact model.

Objective: The intervention project “Be Smart – Eat Healthy” is implemented by Wiener Gesundheitsförderung – WiG and co-funded by the Healthy Austria Fund (FGÖ). The strategic goal of the project is to strengthen the nutrition literacy of elementary school children, teachers and after-school program instructors, kitchen and cafeteria staff, as well as parents, legal guardians, and caregivers through various formats and workshops in the participating schools.
