Admission to the Bachelor's Program
To be admitted to a bachelor's degree program at FERNFH, you must meet one of the following requirements:
- General University Entrance Qualification
- General university entrance qualification, demonstrated by
- an Austrian high school diploma or a certificate of completion of the vocational matriculation examination
- a corresponding certificate of eligibility for higher education
- a foreign diploma that is equivalent to one of these Austrian diplomas
- a certificate of completion of at least three years of study at a recognized domestic or foreign postsecondary educational institution
- General university entrance qualification, demonstrated by

- As relevant professional qualification Either completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant trade or graduation from a vocational secondary school with a program of at least three years is required. The “relevance” is determined on a case-by-case basis within the framework of the Admissions Process decided.
If you have the relevant professional qualifications, you must provideproof of additional knowledge:

- Proof of English proficiency:
- at the “Modern Foreign Languages 2” level as part of a college entrance exam, or
- a certificate at Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or
- Cambridge Certificate “BEC Vantage” or “First Certificate in English” (FCE), or
- TOEFL test (IBT 83 / CBT 220 / PBT 560) or
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS, Academic Module, band score 6.0)

Admission to the Master's Program
To be admitted to a master's program at FERNFH, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- In order to pursue a master's degree at FERNFH, you must, in this case, have a a completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field demonstrate. Compliance with the admission requirements is reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis by the program director.
Master's in Business Administration & Business Psychology
Pursuant to Section 4(4) of the University of Applied Sciences Act (FHG), the academic admission requirement for a master’s program at a university of applied sciences is a completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a university of applied sciences or the completion of an equivalent program at a recognized domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution. If equivalence is generally established and only a few additional requirements are needed to achieve full equivalence, the program director is authorized to make the determination of equivalence contingent upon the completion of examinations to be taken during the respective master’s program.
Relevance to the field
In any case, the Bachelor’s program in Business Administration & Business Psychology completed at the Ferdinand Porsche FERNFH is considered a relevant Bachelor’s program. Admission to this Master’s program is also possible upon completion of another relevant Bachelor’s program or a Bachelor’s program at a university of applied sciences. Relevant bachelor’s degree programs or bachelor’s programs at universities of applied sciences must comprise a minimum total of 180 ECTS credits in the following areas: social and economic sciences as well as psychology, and must cover the content from each of these areas that is relevant to the master’s program:
- 15 ECTS credits in General Business Administration/Human Resources/Leadership/Organization/Strategic Management/Corporate Management/Finance/Accounting/Marketing Management
- 15 ECTS credits in Business Psychology/Organizational Psychology/General Psychology/Social Psychology/Personality Psychology/Psychological Assessment
- 4 ECTS in Empirical Social Research & Statistics
Relevant bachelor's degree programsStudents often transfer into the Master’s program in Business Administration & Business Psychology from the degree programs listed here, as they provide a comprehensive academic foundation in the field for the Master’s program. However, the academic admission requirements may also be met by other bachelor’s degree programs at universities and universities of applied sciences.

In accordance with § 11 of the Higher Education Act (FHG), an admissions process must be conducted whenever the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spots. Master's in Digital Health Management
Admission to themaster’s program in “Digital Health Management”requires completion of arelevant bachelor’s degree programor an equivalent or higher postsecondary degree totaling 180 ECTS credits.
Degrees in health sciences, social sciences, economics, and computer science are considered relevant.
Additionally,acertainlevel of expertisein core subjects is required (in each case, prior knowledge at the bachelor’s level):- Health Sciences / Public Health
- Project and Process Management
- Computer Science, Digital Transformation, and eHealth
It is the responsibility of the program director to assess and determine the applicant’s academic level as part of the admissions process. In individual cases, admission to the admissions process may also be granted if, at the time of application, the applicant is unable to provide all of the required documentation (see “Admission to the Program with Conditions”).
Master's in Information Technology
The Bachelor's degree programin Business Informatics is considered therelevantBachelor's degree program for theMaster's program in Information Technology.
The bachelor's degree required for admission to the master's program in Information Technology may be submitted at a later date.
Note:The "Computers, Networks, and IT Security"micro-credential offers applicants to the master's program in Information Technology who do not have relevant prior academic experience an opportunity to meet the required admission criteria.

In order to pursue a master’s degree program at FERNFH, you must, in this case, have a degree from an equivalent programat a recognized domestic or foreign postsecondary educational institutiontotaling 180 ECTS credits.
Degrees from recognized domestic or foreign postsecondary educational institutions are considered equivalent if they are in a relevant field of study, were earned at an educational institution for which the admission requirement is general university entrance qualification, and are recognized as postsecondary educational institutions under the laws of the country in which they are located.

Eligibility for Micro-credentials
If the micro-credential is earned as part of a degree program, the admission requirements applicable to that program apply.
Micro-credentials in the form of a standalone short program are considered “attendance at individual courses”; no formal admission requirements (e.g., completion of a qualification at a specific ISCED level) need to be met for this.
Subject-specific prerequisites (“relevant qualifications or knowledge”) may be specified, and proof of meeting these requirements may be required. If applicable, you will always find the prerequisites listed directly under the respective micro-credential.

Admission with Prior Study
Prerequisite:- Completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field (at least 180 ECTS)
- orcompletion of another relevant degree program at least at the same level of higher education at a recognized domestic or foreign postsecondary educational institution (at least 180 ECTS)
Work Experience- and three years of relevant professional experience at the start of the program. Relevant professional experience refers to verifiable professional experience in at least one of the core areas or a related core area of the distance learning program.
Admission Without Prior College Work
