Objective: To developa prototype game for smartphones and tablets designed to promote mental health literacy among 10- to 14-year-old students.
With the active involvement of children and adolescents, as well as experts in the fields of psychology, child and adolescent psychiatry, social sciences, software and game development, artificial intelligence, and fantasy storytelling, a game is being developed that is closely tailored to the needs of children and adolescents and enables them to build mental health literacy in a playful way.
As part of a controlled study conducted at schools in Vienna and Lower Austria, the prototype of this game is being evaluated among a sample of 240 students to assess its potential effectiveness and user experience.

Project Partners
This project is a collaborative effort between Ferdinand Porsche FERNFH (Project Director: Profin(FH) Mag.a Dr.in Karin Waldherr) and the University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of Vienna (Project Director: Mag. Dr. Michael Zeiler).
